Old fire hoses have a whole life behind them, before they are rolled up for disposal. When Ilse Evers accidentally came across this waste material, she realized that 'something could be done with it'. Ilse is a sturdy cross-thinker who does not like to throw things away. She managed to tame the tough material with specially developed tools. After years of experimenting, 'Eversom' was created; a unique portfolio that transforms the uniqueness of color, relief, inscriptions, brand names and scars into new products with a surprisingly unique imagery.
